J.R.Smith

J.R. has 15 years of experience working with children with special needs and adults and has had many excellent reviews. He makes a special connection with each person and is a wonderful teacher. J.R. works both with adults and children with special needs.

One of the reasons J.R. came to this work was because of the profound effect it had on his father (Donald) who had been physically active all his life but in his eighties started to shuffle when he walked. With Feldenkrais and ABM, he quickly and pleasurably regained his full stride, raised his gaze (both literally and figuratively), and returned to his natural optimistic spirit. Donald remained curious, playful and mobile and was able to live in his own home with freedom and dignity till almost the end of his life. ABM increased the length and the quality of his life in those extra eight years.

His Feldenkrais training was from 2003 to 2007 with Paul Rubin and Julie Casson-Rubin who both studied directly with Moshe Feldenkrais. He studied ABM Neuromovement with Anat Baniel at ABM center in San Rafael California between 2007-2010. He unites the subtle features of both methods in his practice. J.R. has been a member of Anat Baniel’s training staff since 2009.

Angelina Vlasenko

Angelina is a talanted, creative and gentle practitioner with great insight and subtle touch. Angelina was born in St.Petersburg, Russia, and has her practice and clients there part of the year and has had many inspiring reviews.

The story that brought her to the United States to study Anat Baniel method Neuromovement is about her older son Sasha who has had a cerebral palsy since birth. ABM was the only method which brought the quality of his life to a new level.

Angelina graduated from Anat Baniel Method Professional Training in 2015. She takes continuing education trainings to upgrade her skills. She participated at two Supervisions with Sylvia Shordike in 2016 and 2017. http://www.sylvia.live
